Used to keep the lips away from the anterior segments, providing excellent visibility for intra-oral photography.
2 x retractors per pack.
Glass and stainless steel mirror surfaces can be cleaned with water or glass cleaner.
Dry the mirrors with a soft microfiber cloth. Do not use paper towel as it is abrasive and can dull the mirror surface overtime. Retractors can be dryed with either a microfiber cloth or paper towel.
Completely dry the mirrors and retractors before placing them in an autoclave sleeve to prevent mineral spots on the mirror. Autoclaving is the recommended method of sterili- sation but mirrors may also be cold sterilised. To protect your mirror from damage during sterilisation we suggest you use our Mirror Sterilisation Cassette.
Autoclave pouches are recommended to keep the mirrors sterile until needed. Autoclave recommended settings:
121°C (249.8°F) for 20+ minutes or 134°C (273.2°F) for 10+ minutes
Do not put mirrors or retractors into an ultrasonic cleaning device and do not use bleach solutions. Discard any mirror with a chipped or scratched edge.
